For the last 22 years since November 1988, a cultural spark is ignited in Colorado Springs. It is the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival, a three day event dedicated to celebrating the drive, spirit and diversity of women. As the longest continuously running women’s film festival in the world, the Festival enjoys the reputation of being one of the most highly regarded events of its kind. Enthusiastic crowds consistently fill the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and Colorado College’s Armstrong Theater. Although the Festival attendees are sated from illuminating, poignant or challenging films, they always clamor for more.
