2010 Manitou Springs Carnival Parade & Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo Cook Off - Lodging Special at Eastholme

Two great events in Manitou Springs on Saturday, February 13, 2010.  The Carnivale Parade is Manitou's annual Mardi Gras-style celebration of art, great food and good times.  The theme for the 2010 Carnivale Parade is "Happy Days Are Here Again".  This year will mark the 18th renewal of the Pikes Peak region's oldest and largest public Mardi Gras event.

Preceding the parade is the famous Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo Cook-off held at the Soda Springs Park with tasting for just two dollars, beginning at 11:00am.

And of course it's Valentine's Day weekend.  Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday this year and President's Day on Monday.  What a way to spend a three day weekend with food, fun and some romance.
